About.

Growing up on the East Coast, I obtained a BA in English from Northeastern University. After graduating, I spent a year teaching English in Thailand, where a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat sparked my curiosity about the mind-body connection's healing potential. Like following a thread, attuning to physical sensations opened me to deeper self-inquiry.

This catalyzed my decade-long yoga practice and passion for exploring embodied awareness. Mindfulness and tuning into the body's intelligence profoundly shape my therapeutic approach. I've witnessed how conscious movement, breathwork, and present-moment attention can provide insight, empathy and space for profound transformation.

Motivated to deepen my studies, I went on to earn a Master of Social Work and complete training in evidence-based modalities like EMDR therapy. As a therapist I am passionate about creating an affirmative, non-judgemental space for exploration and growth.

In my personal life, my loving relationships with partner, family, friends, and my two dogs remind me of our profound capacities for connection. It is my core belief that through compassionate presence and acceptance of our full, authentic experience, we can integrate mind, body, and spirit to navigate life's challenges with resilience.
